NSTRUCTIION
1. Balance
1.1 Reference Chart
1.Symmetrical, visual can make the plane look harmonious and organized, symmetrical balance is created by placing elements evenly on both sides of the horizontal vertical axis
1.1 Image from Shake
Black and white decorative painting this painting I think it is symmetrical balance between left and right up and down, so it is my reference picture, I like this style
1.2 Idea Exploration
1.3 Progress 2:Decorative background
The theme is birds so I thought the surrounding decoration should be flowers and grass, or leaves, so I used black and white, lines, and waves to create
1.3 Final Outcome
1.5 Emphasis: Final artwork
I use black and white decorative painting, uniform black and white, the two sides are vertically symmetrical, I think this whole picture is more balanced
2.Highlight
2.1 Reference Chart
1.Emphasis is on design that stands out
1.6 This picture is from Little Red Book
This reference chart one page you can see that color different dots, I think this chart emphasis is very obvious, but also very simple, so that I also very easy to understand
1.7 Image from Shake
This is my reference to the sun, I think it would be more interesting to replace some points with the sun
2.2 Idea Exploration
1.8 Highlighting the first sun
This is what I want to express highlight I used AI software painting, the first sun color is very bright, the rest are darker, very prominent first sun
I improved on the first picture, I turned the colors into warm colors, one darker, one lighter, the colors are both prominent and harmonious, and add a cute expression bag
2.3 Outcome Final
3.Contrast
3.1 Outcome Final
2.1 Image from Google
3.1 Image from Google
The difference could be that one element has a darker background color while the other has a lighter background color.
It could also be that one element has a cooler tone and another has a warmer tone. Or one element may be larger and the other smaller.
3.2 Idea Exploration
2.2 Sketch
I use an iPad to draw, and I start by drawing two identical cartoon characters
2.3 Coloring
I use warm colors on one side and cold colors on the other, so I will feel a contrast between warm and cold
2.3 Outcome Final
2.4 Background
I want to add the background will look a little more obvious contrast, so I used the black and white two contrast
Feedback:
Week 1
No feedback, because we just started practicing
Week 2
Need to add more details and sketches
Week 3
Contrast the two, let me change the background to one black and one white, warm and cool colors can't be contrasted obviously
Week 4
Flowing lines are too short, circle or turn to draw more lines, eventually I change the flow to highlight
