REFLECTION
Experiences
Advanced Typography is a continuation module from last semester’s Typography, and looking back, I remember feeling quite anxious when I found out we were going to be taking another typography class. I also remember how stressful the first semester was. Surprisingly, this one was Classes become more exciting and interesting. I can’t help but acknowledge the tremendous personal and academic growth I experienced. From the beginning, I found myself grappling with complex concepts and trying to navigate unfamiliar territory. However, I have managed to hone my skills using the techniques I learned throughout the module, and although I am not completely satisfied with the results of my assignments, I was still able to end the semester with some work that I am proud of.
Observation
Through this module, I observed that it is crucial to pay attention to details when designing typefaces, as small mistakes or flaws can affect the entire result. Every part of the design is crucial to the final presentation, from structure and structure to color palette and design direction.
Findings
In this module, I learned that a good design must not only be beautiful, but also meaningful and purposeful. I also understand how effective use of fonts will enhance the visual interaction and impact of any design.
