Story idea

Character's feelings:  fear and nervousness....

In the first scene, a thief enters the room to steal something. You hide behind the door.

In the second scene, you are hiding next to the bookshelf in the living room. When the thief is about to leave the house, he suddenly finds you and walks towards you quickly. Then it is pitch black.

Content

Late at night, everything was quiet, and the whole house was shrouded in darkness.

Suddenly, there was a slight turning sound from the lock of the living room door, and then the door was slowly pushed open. You heard the sound and hid behind the door of the room. Watching the thief enter the room and search. You took advantage of the thief's inattention and hid next to the bookshelf in the living room.

The thief first walked to the coffee table and rummaged in the drawer of the coffee table. Then, the thief cast his eyes on the bookshelf next to the TV. He walked over slowly and began to check the items on the bookshelf. He picked up some decorations, looked at them and put them back in place, as if looking for something more valuable.

When the thief was on the bookshelf, he found that there was a jewelry box next to you. He opened the box and found some valuable jewelry inside. When he was about to put the jewelry into his bag, a meow suddenly sounded in the quiet living room.

The thief was frightened and almost dropped the jewelry in his hand. He looked around in horror, trying to find the source of the sound.

During the whole process, you can only watch it all happen, hoping that the thief will leave quickly and not find you. But fortunately, he didn't find you. When the thief was about to leave the house, he suddenly found you and walked towards you quickly. Then it was pitch black.

WEEK 5

  • Audiences don’t see, they feel
  • What role do audiences play in the narrative?
  • The goal is to create content that connects emotionally with the audience.

Visual cues: Guide viewers to POIs (points of interest) through visual elements.

Motion, contrast, distance

  • Guide viewers to POIs through spatial sound.
  • Viewers pay more attention to distances between 3 and 5 meters

I used PR software to edit and add some sounds to create the atmosphere.

I finally decided to divide it into three acts. The first act was hiding in the room. The second act was hiding near the kitchen. The third act was hiding near the washing machine, and finally being discovered.

After receiving the advice, we decided to reshoot.
