Thumbnail Drawing
Animatic Storyboard Production
For this assignment, we were tasked with creating thumbnail sketches, a storyboard and an animatic based on the story that we created for Project 1.
The important part is to consider how to present the story through camera angles.

Reflection
For this final project, I felt like it would be a long journey because it actually takes a long time to draw the storyboard and animate it. This might be because of my lack of experience, but I think I still underestimated how long it would take. Also, my hands, shoulders, arms, etc. cramped a little near the end, so I now understand how much time it takes to create these things and the importance of taking a break after drawing so much.
From the beginning, I started with thumbnail drawing, which is more like deciding the direction of the camera, which lens to use in each scene. For the storyboard, I found that it should be more detailed and clear on the scene, where we should draw the characters, expressions, etc. The next step, which is to animate, I will follow and refer to all the scenes in the storyboard, I spent most of the time drawing the animation because for some of them, I need to animate by drawing frame by frame. After that, I exported all the scenes and compiled them, I adjusted the duration of the images so that they don't stay in one scene for too long. Then, I added sound effects and background music. Final Project It actually took a long time for me to animate. This might be because of my lack of experience, it is indeed a long process from drawing thumbnails to editing. I think through this project I learned a lot about the pre-production of making animations and writing stories.
