REFLECTION

Experience

I enjoyed the opportunity to learn the basics of typography. Each project was fun, but the learning curve was steep due to the complexity of the program. The difficulties I encountered in coming up with ideas improved my creativity and taught me different approaches to design. Also I enjoyed the module because I learned things I never thought I could do just like making my own fonts. I'm excited to apply my newfound knowledge and skills in my work. It was a really great experience for me and I'm looking forward to next semester.

Observation

Throughout the template, I found that the layout was created according to many rules, they were so detailed and in-depth that I had to pay attention to them all the time. I also observed that listening to Mr. Vinod's feedback, not only from me here but also from other colleagues, made me more careful not to make the same mistakes and I paid more attention to typography in my daily life. I also realized that anyone can create a certain level of design and that rules are very important in design creation

Findings

I realized that I was more interested in creating fonts and things related to creating fonts, and I enjoyed Task 3 because it allowed me to create my own favorite fonts. In this module, I had the opportunity to really speak about typography and complete the task, allowing me to apply my new knowledge, and we had to pay attention to every little detail that was changed, because every detail of the typeface could have a major impact on the design.
